I purchased the new album the day it was released. There was an exception- Lulu, which I dare anyone to listen to and not get chills at the end of the first chorus. I actually (I'm a 49 years old man) ... fantasized? hoped? ... not sure of the right word, that **Jay Park** would open with that song. And she did. The show was amazing. Her voice is pour gold. I can still hear ever note, ever perfect vibration of her gorgeous voice as it slowly built and swelled through that song. Everything about her speaks of love and humanity and in a voice that melts you to your knees. She is releasing a 20th-anniversary addition of her debut album using the string quartet. Just a short time after being hospitalized she tore through that stage like a beautiful lion, engaging the band, audience, guest vocalists, at one point several lighting fixtures became so enamored they started to dance and sing along with her. It is a great work of art and needed time to be absorbed and processed. But most of the show went back and forth between the new album and Tiger Lilly. I thought she would have saved that for the end. The End... I don't remember if that was the last song. Anyway, the show was amazing. I doubt she reads these things but we are grateful and please keep writing and putting out new albums.
